Triangle Génération Humanitaire has been present in Syria since 2018, supporting populations still affected by the crisis that began 14 years ago. Today, in a context of tension, violence and insecurity, the education of young people is a priority to contribute to the resilience of the Syrian population.
In this area, our Education & Protection teams are actively working to reintegrate out-of-school children into the formal education system.
To this end, TGH has rehabilitated numerous schools in Syria, in the regions of Damascus (rural), Idleb, Hama and Aleppo. Within these protected spaces, TGH staff organise non-formal education sessions.
Using an adapted approach based on playful learning activities, children catch up at their own pace and are gradually reintegrated into the mainstream school system.
