Protection, social integration and access to services for marginalized and at risk children

This intervention aims to enhance the resilience of displaced and recently returned children in Ninewa governorate, who are exposed to violence and social marginalization. 

The project consists of four main components:

• Legal Assistance: Providing support for adults and children with missing civil documents, particularly for complex cases.
• Specialized Child Protection Services: Including case management, psychosocial support, and community-based protection for at-risk children.
• Juvenile Justice Services: For children deprived of liberty in the Mosul juvenile prison.
• Non-Formal Education Activities: For displaced children living in informal settlements, in close coordination with other legal assistance and child protection services provided by the project.

Throughout the intervention, the partners will build the capacity of community members and public service providers to improve the quality of existing services and facilitate the transition process. Additionally, advocacy efforts will be made at various levels to raise awareness about the rights of children in conflict with the law.
