Peacebuilding: empowering young people in civic spaces in West Darfur

The young people of West Darfur, initially unemployed and disillusioned, play a key role in supporting the peace process when they have the right tools to get involved.

However, the participation of young Sudanese in political life remains limited. TGH will therefore focus on small-scale, youth-led peace-building and advocacy initiatives, placing youth empowerment and leadership at the centre of the project.

Young people (women and men) will be actively involved in developing and implementing capacity-building training, designing and disseminating peace-related digital content and messages (including combating hate speech and stereotypes), implementing micro-projects to strengthen community dialogue and participating in policy-making within government structures.
