Access to drinking water and hygiene promotion in schools

TGH has launched its first operations in Pakistan. The heavy rains and floods that hit the country in 2022 have still not subsided.

Today, they are creating a serious risk of food insecurity and a proliferation of #diseases for the displaced and affected populations.

In consultation with the main stakeholders (representatives of the federal and provincial governments and other INGOs), TGH has decided to intervene to support these people in the long term through an EHA response in the province of Sindh.

Activities will focus on access to drinking water and hygiene promotion in schools.

TGH also plans to rehabilitate latrines in schools and provide hygiene education for pupils.
