Since 2020, TGH has been working to improve the socio-economic situation of the people of the Vakaga prefecture as part of the IBOUNGBI project, a multi-sectoral project for local development in the north-east of the Central African Republic, with the support of the Agence Française de Développement.
On August 05, in the presence of the authorities and youth leaders from the Vakaga, the TGH team from Birao completed the handover of integration kits to young people previously #trained under the IBOUNGBI project in the #livestock sector, including small ruminants for young graduates from the sub-prefectures of Birao, Ouanda Djallé and Ouandja.
A total of 43 young people, including 25 women and 18 men, benefited from this assistance (consisting of 6 goats and a billy goat per young person), which was provided in two stages (a first tranche of 33 young people was assisted on November 16, 2023, while the second tranche of 18 young people received their assistance on August, 05, 2024).
