Ukrainian civilians continue to suffer the ravages of war. The conflict has made access to energy difficult, particularly in the eastern regions close to the front line, and winter living conditions are harsh. In this context, TGH is supporting the most vulnerable communities by providing them with heating sources.
These people are mainly elderly people, women and children. Some have remained in these regions, unable to leave their homes despite the conflict, while others have been unable to flee the contact zone for various reasons.
With the support of its two local partners, Angels of Salvation & CFKCBC, Ukrainian civil society actors in the eastern regions, TGH aims to provide 775 households with fuel (wood and coal). To achieve this, field teams organise rounds to deliver fuel directly to households. The deliveries are also a way of engaging in dialogue with people, some of whom are isolated, to establish direct links and identify their other needs, particularly in terms of protection.
