• Beneficiaries: 16,000 direct beneficiaries and 90,000 indirect beneficiaries
• Partner: TGH's project partner supported by Caritas Congo

The project defines different actions to support Agricultural Interest Groups (GIA), which aim to optimize the use of existing resources (land, markets, local opportunities and institutional support) to improve the living conditions of rural communities and contribute to eradicate extreme poverty.

The three main objectives are:

• Reduce the difficulty faced by producers to sell their products;
• Reduce the costs of quality input supply;
• Restore the dissemination of technical knowledge and improved practices.

The combination of TGH's technical expertise with Caritas Congo's knowledge of targeted areas - the NGO also has a local network and a recognized legitimacy – will help reach these goals. Affirming its willingness to promote actors from the South, TGH is part of the action as implementing partner of Caritas Congo, and was chosen as the official project carrier.
